LEGAL NOTICES – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding electronic publication of legal notices.

RS30170 / H0090

The Association of Idaho Cities identified a policy that will help entities save money and share that savings with property taxpayers. This legislation will add a digital time stamp to public meeting notices and a hold harmless clause protecting entities in the event a meeting notice has been improperly published through no fault of the city.

There is no impact to the state's fund. This legislation may result in a decrease in costs to entities required to publish notices.
