HOUSE BILL 193
Signed by President
Facilities, caregivers, visitation
HEALTH – Amends existing law to clarify provisions regarding essential caregivers and to require health care facilities to establish policies regarding certain visitation requests.
RS30397 / H0193
This legislation clarifies that certain persons are essential caregivers and removes ambiguity by clearly stating that the right to visitation is a right to in-person visitation.
This legislation will have no fiscal impact because it requires no expenditures by state or local governments.
