COMMUNITY COLLEGES – Amends existing law to allow legislative appropriations for upper divisions in community college districts.

This bill will allow community colleges to use state appropriations for any upper division courses and bachelor’s degree programs they may offer. The intent is to allow community colleges to create highly affordable and employable degree opportunities.

This bill does not directly impact the general or other state or local funds. It will allow the Community Colleges to request funds for upper division programs through the regular appropriation process.
