Gold, silver, legal tender
LEGAL TENDER – Adds to existing law to provide that gold and silver coin shall be legal tender, to provide that no person or entity may compel another person or entity to tender or accept gold or silver coin, and to establish provisions regarding the prohibition of certain forms of taxation.

This legislation provides that gold and silver coin shall be legal tender in the State of Idaho and establish provisions prohibiting certain forms of taxation. No person or entity may compel another person or entity to tender or accept gold or silver coin unless agreed upon by the parties.
There is no fiscal impact to the state's general fund nor to the budget of any state agency.
