Law
Contractors, facilities, bio sex
GOVERNMENT – Amends existing law to provide that a public works contractor shall not be required to provide access to a multiple-occupancy restroom, multiple-occupancy shower facility, or multiple-occupancy changing room on any basis other than sex.

RS30060 / S1016

This legislation amends section 67-2802A and prohibits all public entities and political subdivisions in Idaho from requiring public works contractors to provide restroom and changing room facilities that they own or control on any basis other than biological sex.

There is no fiscal impact to the general fund or local governments because this legislation only changes the requirements of provisions in certain contracts.
