APPROPRIATIONS – CHILD CARE GRANTS – Relates to the appropriation to the Department of Health and Welfare and the Department of Labor for fiscal year 2023.

This is a FY 2023 supplemental for the Department of Health and Welfare and the Department of Labor. It provides $28,025,000 onetime for child care grants. Additionally, this bill also includes a reduction of $14,394,000 to the Department of Health and Welfare in the Division of Welfare. Finally, this bill includes two sections that directs the use of funds and outlines the subgrant relationship the Department of Labor will have with the Department of Health and Welfare for the distribution.
