AGRICULTURAL ISSUES STUDY – States findings of the Legislature and authorizes the Legislative Council to appoint a committee to undertake and complete a study of agricultural issues.

The purpose of this interim committee is to study the impact of the Covid Virus Pandemic on the agriculture sector of Idaho's economy. The goal of this committee is to make legislative and policy recommendations as to how to protect Idaho agri-businesses from a similar future pandemic and to remedy and or mitigate any continued affects of this past pandemic.
There will be the cost of funding this committee to the legislative branch of government to include travel and per diem expenses and other committee expenses is estimated to be $15,000 and can be accomodated in the existing budget.
