ELECTIONS – Amends and repeals existing law to prohibit the use of student IDs for personal identification at polling places and to prohibit personal affidavits in lieu of personal identification.

Election integrity is of utmost importance in our state. This legislation eliminates a source of fraud by removing student ID cards as a valid form of identification at the polls. It also removes the option of signing an affidavit at the polls in lieu of personal identification.
There will be no impact to the General Fund.
