Sch board trustees, two-year terms
EDUCATION – Amends existing law to provide that, effective in 2024, school board trustees will be elected to two-year terms at general elections.

This bill amends Section 33-501 of the Idaho Code, adjusting the term of office of School District Trustees to two years, from the current term of four years, and requires that candidates declare their political party affiliation.
There is no impact on the State’s budget foreseen.
