School attendance, homeschool
EDUCATION – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding school attendance and to provide for homeschooling.

Idaho law recognizes public, parochial, private, and homeschool as legitimate forms of education. This legislation clarifies the definition of homeschool as education provided by the parent or guardian wherein all costs associated with home schooling are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for the state or local government, therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
