RS30489 / H0228

This legislation provides an official definition for abstinence. This definition aligns with the federal government’s definition which has been officially used since before 1981. It also aligns with our own statute found in 33-1608 which deals with Family life and Sex Education.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
