Property valuation, assessors
PROPERTY VALUATION FOR TAX PURPOSES – Amends existing law to provide for duties of assessors and to provide for the valuation of income-producing property.

RS30466C1 / H0230

This legislation relates to real property valuation for tax purposes of income-producing property and requires that upon request by the property owner, the assessor shall provide the property owner with the assessor’s calculations used to derive the income-producing property owner’s market value, including any value exempted by statute.

There is no request to expend funds, and this does not cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government and therefore there is no known fiscal impact.
