APPROPRIATIONS – IDAHO PUBLIC TELEVISION – Relates to the appropriation to Idaho Public Television for fiscal year 2024.

This is the FY 2024 Original Appropriation bill for Idaho Public Television (IPTV). IPTV is established in Section 67-5302, Idaho Code and operates under the authority of the State Board of Education. IPTV through its General Fund appropriation provides support for the emergency alert system and Idaho in Session. Donated funds from citizens, businesses, and non-profits are continuously appropriated for content production and related services; authorization for continuous appropriation is provided in this legislation. As a state agency, IPTV is required to be audited and all accounting and payroll transactions are made through the Office of the State Controller. This bill appropriates $2,933,900 and authorizes 14.00 full-time equivalent positions, both from the General Fund.
