HOUSE BILL 279
Electioneering at polls
ELECTIONS – Amends existing law to revise provisions prohibiting electioneering activities at polling places.
RS30571 / H0279
Physically voting at a polling place is a right of all eligible Idaho voters. Access to Idaho polling places should be certain and without restriction, inconvenience or trouble. Voters have complained about being solicited in polling place areas. This Bill clarifies existing law and adds provisions to statute to ensure all voters can exercise their voting rights without delay or encumbrance.
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds.
