CRIMES AND PUNISHMENT – Amends, repeals, and adds to existing law to revise a provision regarding interstate trafficking in prostitution, to provide for the crime of receiving proceeds of illegal sexual activity, and to provide for human trafficking victim protection.

Human Sex Trafficking in the State of Idaho is an ongoing criminal enterprise. This legislation closes the legal gap that will give law enforcement and prosecutors the necessary changes to existing Idaho Code in order to prosecute human sex trafficking in Idaho.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
