SCHOOLS – Adds to existing law to require the provision of feminine hygiene products.

The purpose of this legislation is for all public schools and public charter schools to require feminine hygiene products, free of charge, to all female students in sixth through twelfth grades.

The total cost is $735,400, which consists of $435,000 for product dispensers and $300,400 for products, calculated at $3.50 per student for 85,825 female students. The cost will be covered by an increase in discretionary funding.
