UNIFORM POST-CONVICTION PROCEDURE ACT – Amends existing law to provide for the consideration of forensic scientific evidence.

This legislation would provide a way to have a criminal conviction set aside where said conviction was based on subsequently-discredited scientific evidence.
This legislation would have no fiscal impact to the General Fund or other state fund.
