Fentanyl testing strips
UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – Amends existing law to revise the definition of “drug paraphernalia” to exclude fentanyl testing strips.

This legislation provides that materials intended solely for the detection of whether fentanyl is present (e.g. fentanyl detection strips) shall not be considered drug paraphernalia.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation had no fiscal impact.
