STATE CONTROLLER – Amends existing law to remove a provision regarding digital copies of agreements entered into by state officers and agencies and to authorize the State Controller to develop a policy regarding agreements.

This legislation would clarify reporting requirements of state officers or state agencies and give the state controller the authority to develop a policy to ensure transparency and accountability.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
