JUVENILE CORRECTIONS ACT – Amends existing law to provide that a parent or guardian shall not be required to be represented by an attorney at an expungement hearing.

A parent or guardian of a juvenile for whom a hearing is being held pursuant to section 20-525A who is appearing at a hearing for expungement shall not be required to be represented by an attorney.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
