ELECTRICITY METERS – Adds to existing law to prohibit the requirement of a single electricity meter in commercial buildings or units within commercial buildings.

This legislation clarifies that no public utility or building code shall require a tenant of a commercial building to only use a single electrical meter.
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government, therefore this legislation has no fiscal impact.
