Flood control districts
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICTS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding flood control districts.

This legislation updates the Title 42, chapter 31 Flood Control District Act title, policy statement and FCD authority, and creates or modifies definitions, to reflect the districts' actual flood management role in flood risk reduction, flood response, and flood recovery.

This legislation will have no impact on the state's General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund, because it does not affect the operations or activities of any state agency.
