Liquor, special distributors
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES – Amends existing law to provide that certain special distributors of liquor shall be allowed to continue to operate.

RS31368C1 / H0570

This legislation provides that a special distributor (contract) liquor store that has operated historically within a municipality may continue to do so – even if a state liquor store is opened in the municipality – provided that it operates in compliance with state requirements.

By continuing to operate special distributor (contract) liquor stores, this legislation ensures that there will not be a future decrease in revenues to public funds.
