Divorce, guardian ad litem
DIVORCE ACTIONS – Amends existing law to provide that a guardian ad litem may be appointed for a dependent child during divorce proceedings.

This legislation codifies that a court may appoint a guardian ad litem to represent minors in divorce proceedings.

This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government, therefore there is no fiscal impact.
