Unlawful detainer, illegal drugs
UNLAWFUL DETAINER – Amends existing law to provide for a process in the event a landlord has reason to believe a tenant is engaging in illegal drug activity occurring on a leased premises.

This bill reviews Section 6-303 Idaho Code to provide a reasonable process to mitigate in the event a landlord of a hotel property or short term rental has reason to believe a tenant is engaging in illegal drug activity on the premises.
This legislation causes no additional expenditure of funds at the state or local level of government, nor does it cause an increase or decrease in revenue for state or local government. Therefore the legislation has no fiscal impact.
