PUBLIC UTILITIES – Amends and repeals existing law to streamline and simplify relevant code sections pursuant to the Governor’s Red Tape Reduction Act.

RS30798 / H0659

As part of the Governor's Red Tape Reduction Act the Idaho Public Utilities Commission has gone through relevant code sections to streamline and simplify Idaho Code in Title 61 and 62. This legislation would repeal 35 sections of Idaho Code.

This legislation will have no impact on the state’s General fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because it is simply a streamlining and simplifying of existing code and does not relate to any current or future expenditure of funds.
