Rate-regulated electric companies
TAXATION – Amends and adds to existing law to revise provisions regarding the taxation of rate-regulated electric utilities.

This proposed legislation would replace property tax on rate-regulated utilities with a tax based on kilowatt hours sold.
This proposed legislation will replace property tax revenue to local taxing districts that should be revenue neutral.
