ELECTORAL COLLEGE – States findings of the Legislature and expresses support of the Electoral College system.

This House Concurrent Resolution reaffirms the importance of the Electoral College system and highlights the dangers of a National Popular Vote Interstate Compact approach to electing the President of the United States. The resolution urges the Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State to join the Legislature in opposing any efforts to repeal or nullify the Electoral College process.

This legislation presents no fiscal impact on the Idaho State General Fund nor any other governmental entity because no General Funds are used to promote this topic.
