Law
Windshield, window standards
MOTOR VEHICLES – Amends existing law to remove provisions regarding violations and compliance.

RS29927C2 / S1022

This change adds vehicle windshield and vehicle window safety standards, as found in 49 CFR 571.1-571.500, to IC 49-944. As a result, the Rules Governing Safety Glazing Material, 11.07.02, can be repealed in its entirety.

This legislation will have no impact on the State's general fund or any dedicated fund or federal fund because adding or removing language does not create any new state programs and does not compel any new state action.
